Underwater Shipwreck

There is a remarkable variety of marine species living right here on our doorstep.

UK waters are amongst the richest and most diverse marine habitats in the world and this exciting feature highlights some of our unsung local heroes.

The giant shipwreck display provides the perfect habitat for a selection of native shark and ray species including tope, nursehounds, dogfish and thornback rays.

Discover more about the fascinating lives of hundreds of other sea creatures including sinister conger eels, gruesome wolf fish, strange looking flat fish, bass and of course cod.

Rockpools and tidal displays reveal the richness and variety of our oceans.
