Under Water Tunnel

 On 22^nd February essential maintenance was carried out on the ocean tunnel display at Blue Reef Aquarium, Tynemouth. These improvements were essential to ensure the health and welfare of our fish for another 10 years.

When undertaking a project like this we have to monitor the water quality of the tank very carefully and introduce the fish over a gradual period of time.

Once we are happy with the conditions and the tank is established we will be introducing over very new juvenile black tip reef sharks which are currently in our quarantine facility.
